About Susana Martin (She/Her)
Susana is a Clinical Psychologist who has over 18 years of experience as a psychotherapist, having worked in private practice and in government departments (hospitals, corrections, Defence, Fire and Emergency Services, and schools).
Susana has a range of therapeutic techniques that she can draw upon in therapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Couples training (Levels 1, 2 and 3) and Schema Therapy.

As seen above, Susana has diverse experience in working with all ages and presentations and is particularly passionate about perinatal and infant mental health, couples therapy, parenting, and trauma. She is highly skilled in trauma work and trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR. She has recently completed training in UCLA PEERS social skills training for adolescents to help children with neurodiversity with developing friendships.
