About Ari Narang (She/Her)
Ari moved to Australia from India as a child and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology at the University of Western Australia and Master in Counselling at the University of Notre Dame. She is a Certified Practicing Counsellor through registration with PACFA.
Ari is a friendly and empathetic therapist, with an open approach to counselling. Having experience working with all ages, Ari is motivated to empower individuals, build self-awareness and fill their toolbox with skills towards living a fuller life. She strives to provide a safe and comfortable space to her clients as they navigate through their challenges. She also aspires to support people to build connections within the community.
Ari’s approach to counselling is person-centred and goal-orientated. She integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy and Mindfulness techniques, to meet her client’s needs.
