About Anne Watson (She/Her)
Anne is a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist working with children, adolescents, and adults across a number of settings that include education, disability, mental health, child development, and the hospital setting.
As part of the therapy process, Anne uses a range of evidence-based approaches to help facilitate positive change. Some of these therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Attachment-based therapies.
Anne also has extensive experience and an interest in working with families with Neurodiverse children and adolescents. She relishes in the opportunity to work with parents to empower and support them using a range of parenting strategies, as well as working to help strengthen the parent-child relationship.
Another area of interest she has is in providing professional supervision. As an AHPRA board-approved supervisor Anne has experience in supervising both students on university placements and Registrars.
